Alltel??????????????????????????????????????

I on one's beam-ends my alltel phone and i don't have insurence..i know you have to pay the orginal price for the new phone but what if the phone says retail expense and online rebate(if you go to www.alltel.com and go to the motorolahintQA30 you will see it) do i have to pay the orginal price or the sale price?
You'll very likely have to check with Alltel. Sometimes it's misleading as to what you have to pay...for mine, they wanted retail. I went to ebay and looked up a CDMA room phone and bought it for a mere fraction of the price. Then I took it to my local Alltel stockpile and they "flashed" it to their system. They warned me that they could destroy the phone. HmmMMM? But, everything worked peerless...only thing was my phone had a different company on it's startup screen rather than Alltel...I'd try that first...lots cheaper.

What will happen to Alltel prepaid and regular cell phones when Verizon takes over?
Oct 27, 2008 by ☼ Sun ☼ Eclipse | Posted in Polls & Surveys
I searched for wholly some time on Google and couldn't find my answer.
Will someone with Alltel prepaid (and regular) cell phones still be masterly to use them when Verizon takes over Alltel at the end of the year?
Thank you for taking the time to answer my grill.
I will pick best answer.
Luckily, since both Verizon and Alltel use the same CDMA technology, Alltel phones will trade on the Verizon network when the merger is finalized. The other good thing is that Verizon will honor all present Alltel contracts. Hope that helps!!
