What is the best cell phone company out there?

At once now I am with SunCom and to me they are the best that me and my husband have been with with their unlimited plan. It's just like it's advetised and it's adept. But if anyone out there know about a better cell phone company feel free to share it. Plus my husband's a sundries driver and need to know what cell company would be best for him out on the road.

If your stillness is near major interstates most of the time I would go with Cingular. I have been with Cingular since it was Bellsouth Mobility DCS and I am very satisfied with network expansion and quality.

May I also suggest a multiband phone that way if you are out of the area of one type of bandwidth you can still get on using another.

If you are not a unsupportable minutes user, then Cingular's Family Talk Nationwide plan with rollover can be a palpable bargin.

The free phones are on the low end of gadgetry as compared to Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint/NexTel, but I would rather have worthy service than jazzed up phone and spotty service.

My mom is getting me and my sister (we are 15 and 16) a cell phone and she wants to identify what is the best cell company and plan to get us.


We have tried a prepaid plan but it wasn't enough minutes.

1) it positively depends on where you live and whether or not you travel. some carriers have better coverage than others. 2) how many mintes do you about you need and how much of your friends and family belong to a particular network... plastic to mobile minutes 3) read up on who offers the best customer advantage; this can really make a difference in situations where you need some help understanding 4) what class of phone do you want? you should compare similar models and pricing. 5) preffered guv discounts. thats just icing on the cake but its nice to save some $$.

If i were you i would go to AT&T. upper crust phones and the best value for what you spend on a monthly basis, not to forget how civilized and profesional they are.

Does a cell phone company inform you of expensive ,long-distance calls?

okay, lets say you have a son or daughter. You got him/her a cell phone as part of a phone trade. Your son/daughter goes irresponsible and makes a call to Japan. Will the cell company call to inform you of such an expensive call? I poor you'd like to know to inform them not to do that and to keep them from making any other future long distance precious calls. Or will they simply wait leaving you blind of your child's recklessness plough the bill comes in?
and since they claim it's your "responsibility" you cannot dispute the charges

yea... they wont notify you, you wait for the bill :)
its a suprise every month trust me
phone companys wait for that stuff lol
