What kind of insurance coverage should I get for my motorcycle?
Jul 27, 2007 by hunior | Posted in Motorcycles
I have tolerably much decided to get an SV650S as my first bike. Right now I am reasearching insurance coverages but am pretty much clueless. I don't conscious what coverage to get. This will be my first bike and I have very little experience riding. I have taken an MSF course and live in Los Angeles Territory. I guess I am not looking for a particular insurance carrier(although it will help), I am looking for an explanations of the coverages so I be informed what to get.
I am paying for it in full.
Depending on the year of the bike and whether or not you have a credit on it.
You will have to carry Liability Insurance on it. I would recommend limits of 100/300/100. Take Medical payments of a lowest of $1000. If they have higher limits, go up to 3 or 5k. If you have a lein/loan on the bike you will have to take out Comprehensive and Crack-up coverage. Comprehensive is inexpensive compared to Collision. Get a lower deductible for Comprehensive (covers boosting, vandalism, acts of nature). Get a Collision deductible of $250 or $500. You will also lack Uninsured Driver coverage - I would suggest 100/300. You may also get Underinsured Driver coverage @ 100/300.
It all comes down to cost similarity. Do not drop coverage because of price.

How much coverage is recommended in your homeowner's policy for drain, sump-pump and sewer back-up?
Dec 21, 2007 by Leo Lewis | Posted in Maintenance & Repairs
My common policy comes standard with $5,000 of coverage for drain and sewer back-up. If I have the option to attain expanded coverage, should I do so?
If you have a sump swell or a sewer, additional coverage is definitely a good idea. Depending on the severity, the damages can outrun $5,000. Your insurance rate shouldn't increase much.

How does uninsured motorist coverage work?
Jul 21, 2009 by james m | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I was in a car luck, and the other driver was at fault. The other driver is not listed on her vehicle's insurance policy, and I've been told by her indemnification company that they may deny coverage, because she's a member of the car owner's household. Where does that leave me? I don't have broad coverage on my car. So do I need to sue her for the damage? Or can I file an uninsured motorist claim?
I do have uninsured motorist coverage under my own intimate insurance policy.
In most states, having uninsured motorists bond is ONLY good for injuries to you or to your passengers.... INJURIES... Not for the car !( the name is VERY misleading)
If the other driver does not have bond but you do. Run this through your collision insurance. In any case, notify YOUR insurance company and they will advise you.

Facing the Bronx, there's less about the waning Sensation Limbaugh martyrdom than you might await, and more about the nascent Brandon Jacobs martyrdom. You could direct behave an unmixed J-discipline seminar on whether this guy is fit to be reported upon. But it's presumably always salubrious to give someone who has been attacked as often as Marbury a chance to stand by himself—exceptionally when it's for something like eating Vaseline.
