How can I use my sony ericsson w810 mobile phone as webcam?

I have a sony ericsson mobile phone of epitome w810i. I have bluetooth connection with pc. I also have usb connection. Is there any software to use its camera as webcam?

I scruple it. Using a cell phone camera as a web cam isn't a very good idea. Too slow. It would take forever for the idol to update on the other end.

Would upgrading any locked Sony Ericsson mobile phone also unlocks it?

Hi. I buy Sony Ericsson mobile phones a lot as gifts for friends but they are locked to industry only on one network.

So would upgrading any locked Sony Ericsson mobile phone using Sony Ericsson website also unlocks it?

No - unlocking and upgrading at 2 unconventional parts of the phone

Upgrading only changes the software you see and use, unlocking actually changes some codes and sanctuary in the phone that are not accessible to end users (i.e. you and me)

You need some special software to unlock the codes and switch them, that is what the people who charge you for unlocking have - if you want to unlock lots of phones you can have a look at buying the software - its about £300

How to install the inbuilt software for my sony Ericsson mobile phone?

My sony Ericsson mobile W350i is not switching on, when I took to the technician he advised me of the in-build software problem and he advised me to reinstall the in-build software , however he was asking foe a mountainous sum of money to do that. I feel I can install the software through my computer , provided the site and the steps to tag along; If anyone there to help me in this matter I would be really greatful

The software is obtainable from the SE website. On your country and phone model which may vary between countries.
