What is the cheapest way to call a german or uk mobile in germany with a uk landline or mobile?

My boyfriend is stationed in germany and has both a uk and german mobile however when i call the uk mobile he gets charged the turf and when i call the german mobile i get charged the earth so i was wondering if there was a cheap way to call him whether it be from my uk mobile or a land line.

Okay you can try getting an at& t phone membership card. Which can get pricey. You can sign up with Vonage get free calls to Germany for a small auxiliary fee. Or you can sign up with Vonage Pay extra 5 $ get a 1 800 number and your man can call you for free anytime. Thats how we did it when my man was abroad. Also there is skype. Upload minutes and then call for very cheap. Cell phone are always expensive here or there. Not safe if they have Vonage in the UK. Then skype would be your best bet. If he has a Pc you can call him skype to skype. Even in Yahoo message with call.....Or do skype to stall or landline for a minal fee. I called my sister from the us to germany..1$ was may be talking 2 h.

To text a UK mobile which is abroad, which international code should I add?

I preference to text a friend who's on holiday in Spain and has her UK mobile with her. Do I use the international code for the UK or the code for the sticks she is in?

No- do not add anything to the edition you usually text. You are still sending the text to her number, and the network will locate her. You only use a mountains code when sending a message to another country if the number is based in that country (or from another other than the one you are based in).
Always call and verse just as you normally do,
Hope this helps
