How do I sync Mobile Windows Contacts with a PC?
Aug 27, 2006 by Matt S | Posted in PDAs & Handhelds
I am using a Dell AXIM X51 PDA event Windows Mobile Version 5 with ActiveSync 4.1 and the PC is a Dell Latitude D620 running Windows XP and Aegis 2003. I add a contact on my pda but it does not copy it to the computer. In the options I have told it to transfer contacts. There aren't any by mistake messages and it runs fine. But when I open up Outlook the contacts nor calendar dates there. If I add a acquaintance to Outlook it won't transfer to the PDA either. What step am I missing?
I had a correspond to issue once with another WM5 device.. in ActiveSync, de-select the option to sync your email. Once I had done this, it began syncing no more than fine.
you may want to try upgrading to 4.2

How do i get and install Windows Mobile 6 onto my HTC Tytn that has windows mobile 5?
Apr 20, 2008 by jaykrut | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I have an HTC Tytn that came pre-installed with windows mobile 5 and i desire to install windows mobile 6. I am an HTC club member but the site has nothing to download. Please help me - where can i download windows mobile 6 and how do i position it onto the phone?
I do not rely upon that is compatible with 6 yet. They are working harder to get 6.1 on more of the newer phones than catch up to older 5.0 phones. I at most got an HTC Touch that was preloaded with 6. Here is the link to show what phones can upgrade to 6 and 6.1.

How to backup and restore sms for windows mobile?
Jun 18, 2009 by Roger.R | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I am using a T- mobile competition on Windows Mobile 5 , and I want to backup my important sms to pc so that I can read on pc and tranfer to another mobile (HTC), does anybody could forbear?
Thanks!
I deem you shall download some program to finish the sms transfer job for your windows mobile.
Try "SMS Transfer", perchance it could help you.
Just download and install it to your T-mobile to backup you text messages, and sync the duplicate file to your pc to manager it.
Then if you want to transfer them to you new HTC mobile, just do as the same as the backup job.
SMS Transfer download together:

Vast tweaking : Over the last few years, hobbyists have reached deeper into Windows Mobile’s guts than it seems Microsoft has, and they’ve succeed up with some portentous works. Hardly about anything can be changed swapped out or customised. After a new onscreen keyboard? A distinguishable system font? A unexceptionally new homescreen layout? The briny deep changes to power directors, processor master or recollection allocation? Ineluctable briefing controls for all apps? Put into words controls? It’s all well-grounded a concern of installing a .CAB classify or two.
