How to send a text to a 12 digit mobile #?

Hi, my girl has a 12 digit mobile number in the UK, and even though i can call it, i cannot seem to text it at all from my phone or any free sms websites. Any solutions? The number itself is valid...

No digit in the UK has 12 digits. You may be able to call it as the networks are configured to ignore anything over 11 digits. SMS is routed differently, it doesn't have to go through the same amount of assay as a voice call. Try dropping the last number off and see if it arrives.

EDIT - I think Wee_Gurl has counted the wilderness code 44 for the UK. I guess technically that would make a 12 digit tally if you dialled 447xxxxxxxxx. If that's the case drop the 44 and replace it with a 0 making it look like 07xxxxxxxxx.

The goal I need this mobile home is; Mum and Dad are getting the old farm house roof done up and I want them to stay in the mobile while this is being done. We exigency to transport from Outside of Drumshanbo (Leitrim) to Glangevlin (Cavan.) If anyone know who could do this for us I would esteem the info.

What happens when a 12 month mobile phone contract expires?

My understanding with Orange is due to end in August. If i don't contact the company and end it then what would happen? Do i automatically go onto another 12 month roll oneself or could i just carry on and end the contract at any time by giving 1 months notice?

It will valid continue to roll over on a month to month basis. Most networks will contact you nearer the point your contract is due to end and ask you what you'd like to do. Once the 12 months are up you have the choice to upgrade (usually for disengage) or end the contract.
