im contemplative of buying a mobile phone off amazon (i.e nokia n96, samsung omnia), would you buy phones off amazon as they are sacrifice these phones new from a very reasonable price.

Yeah it should be ok, are you buying bruised hand phones or new? If your buying new, there'll be better sites to buy from. If your buying second hand they'll doubtlessly have some good prices.

Best (or cheapest) place to buy mobile phones in Singapore?

I'm planning to buy a new pointer-held phone and bring it back to my country. I've heard that SIm LIm and Lucky Plaza proposition cell phones at cheap prices. However, I also read horror stories of people getting ripped off at these places. Are there alternatives where one can find give-away prices for mobile phones? What about Mustafa, Best Denki, Harvey Norman, etc? Where do locals go when they appetite to buy brand new unlocked mobile phones? Or should I just risk buying a new phone at Sim Lim or Lucky Plaza?

or you can try buy in Toa payoh centre they have alot of helping hand phone shop have no contract and new phone & cheap, they also sell hand phone act to prevent any damage, bring along a friend that is singaporean so your friend will get discount for you.(also can bring to a halt you get cheated by bad sale person)

I bought my hand phone there, without any contract, new phone, new dash & cheap.

I have vouchers to allot in virgin shops. Can you buy phones from their megastores in the UK or do they have virgin phone shops? I've never seen any
Fair found out you can on the virgin site, thanks for your help anyway :-D

Yes you can definatly buy the mobile phones from the stores also the simcards which i have in mind are usually £10.
