Can Windows .exe PC files run on Windows Mobile 6+?

I'm principled wondering if PC .exe files will run on Windows Mobile 6 and above. and if not, is there maybe some kind of converter that i can use? because i plan to get a HTC Touch PRO, and i'm wondering if there's a DS emulator for it, and using other .exe files will also be of ardent use to me.
