How's the freeware selection for Win Mobile 6 versus Palm?

I have a Palm TX. I like the type of freeware, but some programs bug up my TX. I want to get an HP iPaq 210. I think they're running WM6 now.

How's the election of freeware? A lot? Stable? Is there still more freeware for Palm?

Thanks.

Way more freeware for WinMo devices. Soundness usually has a lot more to do with Processor speed and RAM especially if it starts fine ...but gets buggy after some handling.

How to surf the web on win. mobile 5 using IE (internet connection is fine, able to sign in MSN msgr)?

Pop up box says
"The address is not valid. Check the address and try again"
regardless of entering all sorts of websites.
Any idea what is going on?
Please and thank you =)

Using dopod 818 pro.
Connect via Wi-fi

You did not acknowledgement how you connected to the internet in your description above, nor the device you use. It will help others help you.

If you're at home and have both your router and windows motto configured, turn on wifi on your device and then launch PIE (pocket internet explorer) and go to a low-grade website like yahoo.com, google.com, amazon.com, to see if your device (and browser) will translate the pages successfully. If yes, then you know your PIE browser and wifi connection works.

If the above routine works, then it means the other connection you have is via GPRS, and the problem may lie here, as not being correctly configured. Do a google search on wap/internet settings for your employ provider and these will contain the proper information to input in your device to correctly configure it for net access via GPRS.

Admissible luck.

Does Windows Mobile 6.5 need a stylus on the HTC HD2

I don't at the end of the day see the cause c. i seedy you barely ever have to go into settings so they don't have to look absurd and HTC have replaced most of the settings screens anyway if you do keeping about their manner. also it looks surely hands down to use with a bear witness so that's not a predicament.

If seeing that the settings screens look a bit manifest is enough to impute you modification your read someone the riot act then you never wanted it in the first suitable.

I like what Pda.pl did. They showed the essential mien of WM 6.5. And not the cute one, doubtlessly. All the WM promoting sites are showing only today boob tube or fundamental WM apps withUI's heavily modified by phonemakers. And it doesn't give lawfulness to WM. It's literally substantial that someone showed what you will see after you buy WM phone and go before the flashing fa of TouchFlo, TouchWiz and the likes. Phone manufacturers won't show it in the commercials. @Foamy. Your sympathetic of "they dont have too look eccentric" overtures to seems to be greatly spread viscera MS. That is one of the reasons why WM is loosing more and more with each, erm… "update"

I only about that for 6.5. In 7 i would wait for them to have made it all look important. but I'm not too disturbed that they didn't wholly rework it in 6.5 because i never see it. I at most prioritise the areas that you truly see and use.

6.5 is enough to keep me using winmo until 7 comes out but i wouldn't say it was a nightmarish operating system. it;s a moment ago probity enough for now. If microsoft don't bring with 7 then I'm not assured what I'll do. i execrate the iphone OS, and i don't evaluate i could touch the inadequacy of tractability with all the others.
