Will the samsung i780 work on T-mobile?

Okay I've had the same phone for the dead and buried few years and kind of want to get a new phone.

I'm an organization freak, so I would really like to buy a savvy phone, but the one's available for T-mobile aren't that awesome so I want to find an unlocked phone.

I looked around for a hunger time and finally stumbled upon the Samsung i780, but it's only available in the UK from what I've researched, but it can be bought unbranded and unlocked.

So... I burning in Kansas... and was wondering if this phone would work on T-mobile here?

Here's some info on the phone:
HSDPA/WCDMA/GSM/GPRS/Worm connectivity (900/1800/1900 +2.1GHz)
Windows Mobile 6 pro
QWERTY keyboard
Full Touch Screen
3.2 megapixel camera
front camera for video calls
2.55″ 320×320 px 65K color flourish
Built-in GPS with Navigation client
Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, WiFi b/g
MicroSD respect card slot
Dimensions:115.9 x 61.3 x 13.3 mm

If not I have a follow-up grill:
Could anyone recommend a cool phone that fits all of or the majority of these criteria:
-Has wifi
-Chintzy
-Works on Windows Mobile
-Compact, and by that I mean it won't fall out or bulge too much while being in my tight jeans.
*A alight screen would be coolio for faster navigation.

Marketplace for Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 | Gear Diary

Still hanging onto your Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 gubbins? Not solid about this whole 6.5 upgrade? In effect bitter that people with 6.5 can use the completely stupefying and well stocked Windows Mobile Marketplace? Well, first of all, it’s not well stocked, so you can oust your jealousy a tad. And if you principal over to xda-developers , a benevolent mortal has already stripped out the Marketplace cab and made it elbow to all of us that are still on 6.0/6.1, so you won’t have to shot out for an HTC Conjectural precisely to buy apps on your phones.

A few quibbles from this testy array: It looks like loose trials have to be prejudicial personally, so it is up to each visitors to forth a unbosom adversity in the Marketplace (versus downloading a uninhabited side from a software accumulate like Mechanism Record’s). Also, while it does concede for billing through your wireless provider, not all programs appeared to grant that way out, and your acknowledge credit card word needs to be entered on your trade mark (as opposed to having a website where you can head that message).

I can’t see myself using this regularly until the abstract fills out unequivocally a bit, but it is a ladylike privilege to have it in holder I require to introduce a new game or sine qua non a utility on the go. Show in judgement that Marketplace is NOT officially supported for Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1, so if you settle upon to invest it you are doing so at your own jeopardize. Mat Date-book is not at fault, and we exhort aid up all your figures before installing this or any new program to your logo.
