How does modem "HUAWEI Mobile" consume bytes?

This is a employment provide by Vodafone, and I would like to know how does it consume energy. I buy 3GB per month. I would like to be familiar with what of the following activities are those which consume the more bytes.
Using messenger programs (windows dynamic, skype, yahoo messenger)
Checking inbox (mail servers: gmail, yahoo, hotmail)
Playing online games (sakray)
Downloading music (goear)
Birth attached files to emails (powerpoint presentations, FLV video files)
Using Youtube
EVERYTHING you do consumes it but to coerce it simple, at 3 gigs a month, I wouldnt be doing much more than checking e mail and browsing the net!

The spieler on the back just randomly stopped working, so now when I'm called or messaged, it gives me no on the qui vive, and no music will play without headphones. Where can I get this repaired?

I intend i found it a week ago put an ad online and in the paper, no one claimed it. If i sell it would it be tracked? Could T-mobile sue me or something for selling a gone network card?
