I have an HTC 620 continuous WinMo 5.0.

I do not like the software, and would quite like a linux flavour instead.

What are the worst mobile linuxs, is this easy to do?

Like the other responder suggested it would be easier to get a new phone. Here are some links. If you google for linux +mobile phone you will get a lot of hits.

There is a C++ protocol which was designed for a linux platform. How can I port this code to a Windows Mobile platform?

I hear that some of the headers/libraries might be separate? What can I do about them?

But the general syntax of the code is unchanged, right?

The syntax will be the same, the predicament is that, most likely, the code is dependant on linux-specific libraries. You could see if it Mingw runs on Windows Moble and if that app works with Mingw. What App is it? It uncommonly depends on what libraries they're using.

Mainly computers do not come with a dual boot system you have to do that yourself.

Buy a mini and then install linux, simple as that. Linux is informal Windows is not. If your clever you'll buy a system with Linux and install windows.

I realize now your talking about a mini and would like to point out that I do not believe Vista is the best choice for a mini as it HOGS system resources like no tomorrow.
