cell phone google map mobile problem. The map is only able to load when there is wifi connections.?

google map mobile on my cubicle phone is only able to load map when I am connected to wifi. When it is not connected, it does not lade any maps? Should it be able to load map when i don't have any internet connections and able to show my position by using my built-in GPS on my stall phone?

google map will only toil with an active connection to the internet if you dont have a data plan and rely on wifi then it will not update cultivate your in wifi again.
your gps may be built in .. but it uses the internet connection to update the low-down.
if you want to use this properly get yourself a data plan

How to load a North America map into Garmin Mobile XT?

I got Garmin Mobile XT installed into my new Nokia N97, but I bought the phone in Malaysia and so it only comes with maps of Malaysia. I will be returning to the US quickly and obviously want to load a US map into the device, how can I do that? Couldn't seem to find the proper download on the Garmin website. Also, how can I secure the software to my PC? Thanks in advance :)
And what is the SD card?

1. On the SD Be unsecretive - look for the "Gardmin" folder. Check if you see a file named GMAPSUPP.IMG. If exists, rename the North America map folder as GMAPSUPP2.IMG and copy that to the "Garmin" Folder

2. Now under the Garmin folder, form a file named GMAPSUPP2.UNL.
3. Open the file and key in the North America. map activation criterion criteria, save the file.
4. Launch Garmin Mobile xt, settings, map sets and you should see the north america maps as well. exceptional the maps as default and use it.

How do I send a map to my mobile phone(Treo 700w)Window os?

I have tried to send a map & directions from mapquest, & MSN but I still can't find software that can send the map and directions to my phone.I am on the Verizon Wireless network. The phone is a Treo 700w,Palm phone.

If using MAPQuest, I would take a Crackle using Prnt Scn on your PC and insert this SNAP onto a WORD document...then I would go back and highlight the Abstract portion of the same MAP and Ctrl "C" it onto the same WORD document and then send this Discussion doc to my treo...
