Google maps mobile can deliver you your approximate location in a certain range. What API does it use to do this? It has to be something that the mobile exposes. How to get hold of the API?

In reality there will a big different when browser the on PC. Mobile phone has application that suitable. maps mobile needs update to stitch the desire connection you really want.

Is there any way that you can put the orientation up on google maps mobile, instead of north up?

I have nokia n95 8gb and I ardour google maps mobile. The only problem I have is that it doesn't let me put orientation (directions) up when I am using it to drive. The north is always up which can get very confusing when driving. Any remedy???
