Decent really thin mobile with mp3 player that takes micro sd memory card that i could get for under £50?

My phone penurious so i just want something cheap to replace it. But i want it to be thin so is easy to carry in my pocket and takes an sd recall card cos i've already got one.

You get earphones that advert into the phone and a slot for the sd memory card, I know this because I know someone with it. Also its more like 30-40 quid depending what network your on.

Lots of other features too.

SD cards and mp3 is harmonious standard for all samsung phones.

Condign after the start of the World War 2 in 1939, a German bomber dropped bombs on the medical centre in which my Mum had just been born in North Manchester. (The Germans probably meditation it was the Lancaster bomber parts factory which was closeby)

As a result of the bomb she's always had a hearing hornet's nest in her right ear. She's not totally deaf though - lets say 50% of normal.

She bought her last mobile phone in a storm, from a local phone shop, on an 18 month contract (which has just expired and she is available for upgrade.)

It was a bad choice... Motorola, flip phone (which are awkward for seniors to go berserk open, and need two hands and prone to dropping in the process), volume up and down buttons on the side (which a lot meant it got turned down to zero in her pocket just by moving about)

So... any suggestions for a assertive/brand/model of mobile which might be good for her? Has to be new style as got free upgrade to use. Preferably easygoing to use, big buttons, and robust.

How much pocket money for a pre-teen?

My kids all get $10 fortnightly for their derogatory use ($5 guaranteed, $5 if chores are done). This is strictly personal cash. I still pay for lunches,excursions, canteen etc. My eldest daughter now has a mobile and I also give her $20 fortnightly tribute, that seems like a lot to me (most of it is used texting friends in the evening where a 5 minute phone call would be adequate). Just wondering how other parents manage pocket money with their kids. Looking for some ideas at all events 'normal' pocket money range (my 11 YO tells me some friends get $50 a week) whilst attempting to cheer up a sense that money isn't easy to come by,and saving is important if you really be deficient in something. Any input much appreciated.

We have a 16 yr old boy a 15yrd bit of San Quentin quail a 11 yr old gr and 3 younger kids. My advice is be strict with the money and really create them earn it! Our oldest kids are my step and live haf time with their mother. They are paid for everything and then dedicated extra. The children who reside in our home ar able to manage money at only 11, 8, and 6. We have a bank ( a keep out box) when they get Bday money they get half in their pocket and half in the bank. Allowance is for chores (at 11 my sprog gets $5 a week) all to the bank. They don't have it in their pocket to spend or laying a round to be beaten. If they want spending money they fill out a withdrawl slip and we will approve or deny it. We are appealing easy about giving the money if they go through the effort of turning in the little paper. We still give the older a few addition opportunites to earn other pocket money but she does have to EARN it. We buy most clothes and all necessary things but superfluous's she has to buy. Now she really pays attention o price and product. Our older kids slog around with more money on them that us! And they they still complain if we don't buy them evrything they ask for. They think jeans ar only good if they are from a store at the mall and sell for over $50.00.
