Would i necessary a certain program, and if so, what program would that be?
What's the best way to create a mobile application? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Easy on the eyes much every new phone can run Java applets. You'd want to start to learn the Java communication. A great application for coding and debugging Java applications is JCreator, which can be downloaded for untrammelled.
You'd likely want to use Java 2 ME (Micro Edition) platform. It is used everywhere on MANY hand held electronics, including cell phones.
You would want to download the Java 2 ME SDK (software event kit) at http://java.sun.com/javame/index.jsp, where you can find a lot more information about developing mobile applications.

How do I add the chat and mobile application to my classic mail account?

I have two venerable mail yahoo accounts. One shows the chat and mobile application on the left side. I don't use that account as often as I do the other account. How can I add that application? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find the right answer. I know that I don't have to switch to the new mail because one of my ageless mail account shows it just fine. Help!! :)
There is nothing you miss to do. Yahoo is supposed to add it for you. Here is what Brandon Savage, the Senior Product Manager for Yahoo! Letters Classic had to say about it:
" ...Chat and mobile text is rolling out to all Yahoo! Correspondence Classic users over the next couple of months, so cool your engines and please be patient if you don’t see it aptly away. We’ll get to you soon, I promise..."
So one day the chat will simply show up in your post.

No. You cant send attachments from the Gmail mobile app.
Most new phones have email advertise in the Messaging beside the SMS. You can configure it to your email account (POP3 or IMAP) and then that way you can add attachments to your composed messages.
Most Nokia phones have setup wizard to Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, etc.
