T mobile Compact III problems. Want to use on o2 ?

I have a Compact III MDA phone which was with T mobile and I fancy to use an o2 sim card. The phone is unlocked but the internet does not work. It says "the poor party has ended the connection" any ideas why?? Another point is when I connect the phone to my laptop via brisk sync the internet on my phone works a treat. Im puzzled. Please help"

My T-Mobile Compact III shuts itself down after 10 minutes of being swithed on - how can I fix this?

Everything on the phone works entertaining, it just doesn't stay turned on for more than 10 minutes.
take it back to the outlet and have it looked at.
clearly that's not normal behavior for a such a device.

I in point of fact don't understand this and i checked loads of sites and found nothing, i cant really find a official site for this phone to get in touch with customer service.
i am not familiar with connecting things with other devices so can someone explain it in handicapped mans terms please!
