What are the best UK mobile phone contracts for a student?

I don't understand anything about mobile phone contracts and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good, low cost 12 month ones with fitting minutes and texts? Also what handsets would people recommend, particularly for texting?

What are the forensic issues associated with mobile phones/mobile phones contracts? So far I've got bad credit history, like for if you don't turn over a complete your repayments and you get a default and you cant get loans for 5 years. please help.

are you asking what would turn up if you don't pay your bill?

if you've already got bad credit history, then for goodness sake, get a pre-paid.

if you show a history of getting infernal marks on your credit rating, then you will get knocked back for:

a car loan
a credit card
a mortgage!!

i don't advised of the period of time bad credit marks are kept for - but having a mobile phone which looks gifted to keep up with your friends is not a good enough reason to get a bad credit history.

is there such a thing as subletting mobile phone contracts?

ive heard of people subletting their flats or subleasing their cars, but do people ever do this for mobiles? lets say someone signed a pucker with a mobile phone company for 1y and wants out in 6 months, do people give it over to someone else?

you took the contract out with the network for a set period of time if you want to end it then you be inclined to pay any cancellation fees if you tried to sub let it this is what would happen...
new own just makes phone call after phone call runs up a monster bill as it dosent matter they didnt take the contract out and the bill wont be in their name ad the money wouldnt be coming out of their bank account ;)
