Does T mobile offer phone discounts when you sign up for a brand new contract?

I'm switching carriers because it is much cheaper. Does T mobile offer discounts for all phones? Do they give them at all if you are a name brand new customer. Will the G1 be discounted?
Yes, T-Mobile has at large and discounted phones for new customers and current customers renewing their contracts. Descend upon http://www.T-Mobile.com and click on shop and then on phones, and it will display the price for a new customer. I on the G1 is discounted, but not free. They have several great free phones, such as the Nokia 6263, and they have cheaper phones that you have to pay for-I have not figured that out.

my trusty old mobile (a motorola c975) has interrupted due to getting wet, it was a pay-as u-go on ''3'' but a bit of a brick. got it from superdrug in manchester for only 20 pounds with 30 quid recognition ,so cant moan!. looking for similar more updated maybe on pay-as-u-go or rental , depending on the have to do with?

Its exactly my girl friend and I ,were on a budget so I am trying to find which company offer the best deal. So please rake me in your own opinion which mobile company offer the best family plan deal
it all depends on what the most suitable deal means to you. all familyplans include mobile to mobile and free nights and weekends the key difference is the coverage area and the rate and daytime minutes you will be given to serving. T-mobile offers 700 anytime minutes for 59.99. cingular and Verizon offers 700 minutes for 69.99 and with sprint you get 800 minutes for 69.99 the only perk with sprint is that your nights and weekends start at 7 p.m. the only other one that can do that is cingular on a family talk for 14.00 reserve. so honestly if i was on a budget id go for t-mobile becuase they offer 700 minutes for 59.99 which is a pretty honourable deal
