What mobile sim cards can I purchase when traveling to the Australia?

I'll be itinerant from US to Sydney Australia in May. My phone service company currently in US is T-mobile. I want to gain a sim card when I arrive. What sim card can anyone recommend, that has the cheapest calls, when making limited calls and receiving calls in Australia?
If you fancy cheap calls (10 cents a minute and 10 cent part messages) go for VirginMobile and recharge using the BeanCountier.
You do not get charges for receiving calls in Australia, we do not have Two shakes of a lamb's tail log plans that you have in America.

Can a t-mobile SIM card be used in other cell phones from different carriers? like the LG chocolate?

I have a t-mobile aim that also came with a SIM card from that network. I have no clue, but is it possible to use phones from other carriers with my SIM use strategy act openly?
Yeah, as protracted as it is unlocked, but since the Chocolate is Verizon-Exclusive, it doesn't use SIM cards. Hope this helps.

I have a narrow for 18 months with 3 and I don't like the phone I have. Is it possible to use the 3 sim card in another mobile which is open to all networks?
