i have a verizon motorola razr v3m which i purchased peremptorily more than a year ago. Promptly after purchasing the phone, I edited the seems to allow me to transfer media to and from the phone using motorola phone tools, an solicitation that allowed me to bypass Verizon's convoluted costly method of accomplishing the same tour de force. Anyway, everything was fine up until I reinstalled windows. I was forced to reinstall the drivers for the phone and everything. THe program was recognizing the phone quite, and full functionality was achieved. I now notice however that the mobile web on my telephone doesn't work anymore. I'm wondering how to fix the incorrigible. Thanks for any advice.

What is the difference between mobile web and unlimited web browsing?
Jun 24, 2009 by Kenneth | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I was on a stall phone site and it had a messaging plan unlimited web browsing and mobile web 1.99/mb both of those are included in the enclose but I don't understand what the difference is? Both of them sound like you get on the internet but I don't want to also pay 1.99/mb virtuous to get on the internet.
hmm... ill take a incentive at this one, when they say unlimited web they mean you don't get charged for using there services such as there mobile store, there mobile web refers to the factual web but there unlimited web browsing refers to there services.
don't take it from me i've never had a phone.

What is the difference between mobile web and mobile internet?
Mar 31, 2007 by Leah ♥ | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I am getting the enV, and nothing but today I went to a Verizon Wireless store, and asked how much it costs to go on the web. He said Mobile Web is $5 a month. I went online a few minutes ago, and I heard of Mobile Internet.
What's the characteristic? What can you do on Mobile Web, and what can you do on Mobile Internet?
What one alows you to go on sites like Amazon.com, Miniclip.com, ect?
web is peremptorily for world wide web. same as www.
they all mean internet.
if you are wanting to browse the web, then software installed is the remainder between viewing all sites, most sites, or just wap sites.

Mobile Web Africa - World Wide Web Foundation
by Stéphane Boyera
I gush the last two days in the Mobile Web Africa convention in Johannesburg, South Africa. The first wholly surprising in point of fact for me was the audience; Around 200 people customary interested to learn and talk about Mobile Web. Based on my since episode, with other common at the time like Africom, this was a essential off guard. The agenda was a mix of topics from mobile advertising to mobile for collective enlargement, and mobile popular network. Very distinct people, with heterogeneous backgrounds, including lots of self-made entrepreneurs. As far as I can indicate, the audience was mostly from South Africa, Johannesburg and Ness City, with also few people from Kenya. In terms of talks, the three best for me by far were from Eric Cantor, the rule of Grameen Inauguration in Uganda, Kannan Pashupathy, Mr Big of Google Engineering for Africa, and Chaals from Opera. There were other very textile speakers but not on topics I'm exceptionally interested in like Mobile Sexually transmitted Network.
What did I get out of it? Many things! The first one is about W3C, and the crown paucity of awareness among the people accounted for right in the stay on the toil done in the Mobile Web Energy (MWI) . Listening to the questions, most of people had never heard about the W3C Mobile Web Crush Practices or MobileOK . I realized that one of our mistakes in MWI is that we associated Mobile in Developing Countries and Mobile for Event. I realized during these two days that these are two another topics. There is a mammoth retail for those targeting the halfway merit who have a heature phone or a smartphone, and may or may not have a computer. This sounds only actual in South Africa and Kenya at least. Therefore, I allow there is a sine qua non for more dissemination of W3C industry among developer communities, and IT/Mobile vigour in South Africa and other nearly the same countries.
The substitute factor which surprised me was the remarkable handle on people have on the requirements for common-oriented services. It might be due to the act that the massive lion's share of the scope didn't have this experience (developing services for underprivileged populations), but it was exciting to see discussions around illiteracy; languages; and skills to search, find and use delight on the (mobile) Web. For criterion, I had some pointed dialogue with Ory Okolloh who founded and is manager impresario of Ushahidi . She stated that for occurrence there is no conclusion with using the Web, or mobile services, people can search and find what they essential, with the assistance of the community. She also mentioned the points that in Kenya people do not scarcity to use localized software, but choose English variety. Some other people mentioned also the actually that illiteracy is not an end, and people always find a way, through e.g. the community to get access to poop sent in an SMS. To be legitimate, I don't fully subscribe to this tactic of deem, and I was not alone.
