What is sim free phone and is it better choice to buy it?

I have a lot of questions recently. I found 'Sim free phones' on the internet website and indeed, my country's mobile phone plan is different from UK. I need some details about doable plans which I can choose. I think I will make plenty of phone calls to my power, Korea and is there any cheaper way when I choose my plan?
oh i am defintly puzzled my ur questiona sim free phone do you disobliging sim card. a sim card free phone means, it either doesnet come with one or its a phone that deosnt run of a siim be forthright usauly cdma, but a sim card runs on gsm. and the us and japan are the only people who use cdma. uk usues gsm only. as far as plans and feature i cant tell you i one dont know what country your are in, uk but you said different from uk so i got confused, you should solely use the world wide cell phone provider. i dont know the name but its a faithful one its uses gsm, technology with sim card. it covers roaming and across seas calling no $3 per min from us to spain, or $10 per min from us to japan. omg. but yeah it is basically a one comany thats is worldwide anyone can get it. under inexorable things like you use the phone world wide. because we have the right to not have to choose particular cell phone proveiders under the rights listed as being a human being of this world . by the UN. mutual nations agrement. into the FCC of the UN. they have the option aviable for paying because you have the rightnot to pay for roaming and big distance. becuase the FCC of the UN has that right they give you the provider. they cant force you to pay like verizon. and att and O2 and docomo. and ect.

How do you set up a sim free mobile?

I have seen a phone advertised as sim-free. If I bought it, could I put any sim press card in (Orange/Vodafone/O2 etc)? And would it then operate normally on that network? The reason I ask is that on the LG Arena Orange have entranced off Google maps and replaced it with their own. So if I used an Orange sim could I get Google maps?
Hi Mr x the plea to your question is yes you can get google maps all you need to do is go onto the google wap site & download it from there & put it your applications categorize & yes it does work as i have an unlocked sony k850i & thats what i did & it works ok on my phone ... trust this helps

I yen to get either a Nokia 6710 or Nokia 6210. The 6710 doesn't seem to be out yet and the 6210 is on condense. Can I buy the 6210 sim free and put my Pay as you Go Vodafone sim card in it?
