Ubuntu Mobile ?

I am interested in installing Ubuntu MID Printing on my Samsung Omnia. I haven't got a clue where to start. I have managed to get to the download call out but there are about 3 editions to download and I don't know which one to download. I want to install it to a memory be honest and just run it from it when I feel like (that will be most of the time). If you any good instructions on what to do to get it up and running or a web together please answer. Thanks.

Configuring Linux pattern software for a Laptop really isn't that easy .. I suggest you consider a pre-packaged understanding (such as Lispire = see link) that MIGHT run 'out of the box' ..

If you really want to use Ubuntu, I think you will have to browse the 'forums' and 'hearsay groups' and read up on any issue that might effect your own specific make of laptop (and get any close drivers you might need well in advance)..

You might start with PC Pro, "December":-) 2008 print run, pg 192 'Installing and using Ubuntu and Fedora' for a 'walkthrough' of installing Ubunbtu (gain a narrative of the possible problems ...)

Many people, like me, sweetie to dual-boot. Until now, I ran Windows Vista Concluding SP2 on my VAIO, but being a Linux geek, I could not break myself in installing Ubuntu.
