What are other sync programs that are compatable with windows mobile 2003 other than activesync?

I`m upsetting to transfer a large file (hundred (s) of MBs) but ActiveSync quits half way through. Are their any other activesyncs that toil with windows mobile 2003?
I have Windows XP Professional SP2

This is a paragon problem with ActiveSync.

The only suggestion I have ever seen is using a card reader fond of to the PC to transfer data to a suitable memory card then plug that into the PPC device.

I don't recall of any other means of bulk file transfer to PPC application that will handle this.

How to Convert a Windows Mobile 5 CAB to a Windows Mobile 2003 CAB?

I have a Dell Axim x50 and I was wondering how you could transfigure a windows mobile 5 .cab file to a windows mobile 2003 .cab. If anyone knows It would be greatly appreciated.

You can't "rivet" a .CAB to another .CAB. Don't you realize that a .CAB is a file that installs a program on a device? How can you "glue" one to another. That just doesn't make sence. Now, if you mean can you run a WM5 .CAB on a WM 2003 tool, I would expect the answer is NO. It would usually work the other way around, however.

its currently uninterrupted on windows mobile 2003...is it possible to upgrade it to windows mobile 5 or 6..heck 4?

If this is INDEED your phone, I would NOT recommend you to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 5 or even 6.

Only said, this phone is almost over 5 years old now and simply does NOT have the hardware requirement for Windows Mobile 5 or 6.

While it's NOT unsuitable to install Windows Mobile 5 or 6 in it, you can expect to have an excessively slow phone which would probably take 5 minutes only to load the OS. If that's not enough, you're looking at working on your XDA with slow step, waiting for the OS reply to your actions.

So, again, unless you demand to spend minutes waiting for the OS to do whatever you asked it to do and, don't upgrade. You will be deeply dissatisfied.
