Remove Windows Mobile and Install PalmOS on Treo 700w?

I condign bought the Treo 700w from Verizon today. It really sucks. It is really flawed, but I saved $50 by buying the Windows Mobile version.

My question is: Does anyone advised of how I can "format" (or, at the least, remove Windows Mobile from) my Treo and install the Palm OS--the same Palm OS that's on the 700p? There's got to be a way since the W and P ironmongery are identical.

Although the 700w and 700p look very similar on the outside, on the inside they are different. To start with, they have original screens. The 700w has a resolution of 240x240 pixels, while the 700p has a 320x320 camouflage. Also, from what I can make out of the data on the Palm website, they probably have slightly different stall phone radios inside them.

I am taxing to decided between a Palm Treo 700p and 700w. I still am unsure which would be the best. The 700w costs $50 more.
