I am using a Dell AXIM X51 PDA competition Windows Mobile Version 5 with ActiveSync 4.1 and the PC is a Dell Latitude D620 running Windows XP and Job 2003. I add a contact on my pda but it does not copy it to the computer. In the options I have told it to transfer contacts. There aren't any incorrect messages and it runs fine. But when I open up Outlook the contacts nor calendar dates there. If I add a junction to Outlook it won't transfer to the PDA either. What step am I missing?
I had a like issue once with another WM5 device.. in ActiveSync, de-select the option to sync your email. Once I had done this, it began syncing only just fine.
How can I stop my Windows mobile 5.0 from deleting all contacts while syncing to my laptop?

All of a unforeseen, everytime my Cingular 8125 windows mobile 5.0 phone ties to sync my mobile prospect contacts with my laptop outlook contacts, it syncs fine, then my mobile outlook deleltes all of the brand new contacts I reasonable loaded.
i would advance updating & running your virus software on your computer just in case.... because there is always something new out there....
then, i would friend Cingular about the problem. they should be able to make suggestions if not help you solve the obstreperous.
