Windows Mobile Development in Visual Studio 2008. Standard or Pro.?

Im growing to get Visual Studio 2008, but i want to develop Windows Mobile Applications. Does Criterion have this feature or do i have to get Pro.? Im pretty sure standard can but i just wanted to make steadfast before i bought.

If you look at the certificate here it appears they have removed mobile from the standard edition http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai ls.aspx?FamilyId=727BCFB0-B575-47AB-9FD8 -4EE067BB3A37&displaylang=en
It was within reach in the 2005 version.

I googled for Notifications functionality for Windows Mobile, but I did not find anything considerate? I want the notification window to automatically appear when the phone has establish a union to a server. Could any provide a simple example of how might this be done? Thank you.

This query was asked a lot during the VS2010 Beta1 timeframe and the retort remains the same: Mobile Development Tools are now aligned to the mobile rostrum releases and are hence decoupled from Visual Studio releases, so I herself conclude we should see work corroborate in VS2010 when a new mobile stand is released. For now, remain with VS2008 for gadget development needs ( ceremonious report ) and keep an eye on the Windows Mobile Development Center .
