How do you make your caller specific ringtone not be the text message tone on the RAZR?
I have the RAZR V3, (the old non-mp3 one), with cingular, and i downloaded ringtones for circumscribed people and i want it to just be the ringtone, not the text message tone... how do i do that?? honestly now i assigned it as the persons ringtone, and it's playing everytime they send me a text rather than my text advise sound.
I have a Verizon RAZR, so I hypothesize I'll tell you how it is on my phone and maybe it'll work with you, if not similar to it. How it is on my phone is that you into your contacts and favoured the person you want to have the different ringtone for and go to "edit" and then scroll down to "ringtone" and hit "set" and tiptop the song you want and then hit "ok" or "done" (whatever it is on the Cingular phone). I prospect this works! Good luck!
