I bought a organization tone off iTunes and I want to get it to my phone. Is there a way I can send it to my phone orsomethingg?

I'm infuriating to get this ringtone I downloaded to my computer on my phone. I have a cord thing to connect it and I did I clicked download or whatever it says is recommended when It popped up and after that nothing happens. So I unplugged my phone and plugged it in again and it fair-minded makes a sound but nothing happens
