How do I transfer a beloved ringtone from my old phone to my new phone?

I had an older Sony Ericcson with an astonishing ringtone I bought online off AT&T. I got a new phone, and the ringtone is protected, so I can't bluetooth it, and the site won't let me buy the ringtone for my new phone because it "isn't compatible". And if I do a wise recording of the ringtone on my new phone, it either doesn't come across loud enough, or it sounds really crappy.
Unfortunately you're moderately much going to be SOL in that scenario. There's no way to unlock carrier-protected ringtones or to convert old web-based polyphonic files into newer files types like mp3s.
Now, if it's a long explanation you can find online or on a CD and load it up onto a computer as an mp3, there is a free program you can download called Audacity (audacity.com) that was created specifically for fetching small ringtone-sized clips out of your favorite songs.
Beyond that, I don't know of any other options for you. Above!

When I bought the sidekick 3, it came with a ringtone called
"T-Tinkle" i like this ringtone a lot. I have not seen it in other places. Soon I am going to get a new cellphone. But how can i shield that ringtone in my computer?
if you have a usb wire that connects from your cellphone to your computer its easy then. But if you did not find ausb cable with your phone when you bought it don't distress there is still a way. If your cellphone have blue tooth u can buy a blue tooth adaptor for your computer. That is the second way how to do it. (It's also accomplishable to buy a usb cable for your phone)

I downloaded a new ringtone from thumbplay and I long for it to be my new texting ringtone and I can't figure out how to set it as my text ringtone. Please help.

modulate you tone there...
don't forget to SAVE
ps make sure your ringtone is under ringtone folder.
