How do i create a ringtone for iphone?

Can any one balm me to create ringtone for my iphone? I don't want to use those songs that I buy from the itunes. I want my own songs.

thats how i do it from my mp3 files,
if you want to use itunes files, transmogrify them to mp3 before uploading them to Ventones. here is how

you basically fritter away an itunes track to a cd, then reimport into itunes but make sure you reimport as mp3

unbiased upload mp3 files that you download from limewire. either way its free

Is there a place where i can create ringtone files, and not have to send then via txt. message to my phone?

I don't demand the internet charge on my phone bill for downloading ringtones from the net. I have a usb cord for my phone i virtuous need a way to create ringtone files. preferable free or cheap!

Get a Motorola Phone Tools CD (present for a couple of bucks on Amazon.com) and it will let you rip any part, long or short, out of any song or sound bit and install it on your phone.

i straight clicked the song i want and clicked create ringtone
and all it did was pop up with this message: "you can creat iphone ringtones from many songs purchased from the itunes value" so what do i need to do next to create it? idk how to do it.

you have to buy the long story frorm the itunes store first. it can't be a song from a cd, or from limewire or whatever.
