Can anyone help me choose a ringtone for my phone?

I got a new phone, and I want a really good ringtone. Right now I have the intro to Chinese Democracy, when the guitar starts. It's overconfident but I want more options. I like rock, hardcore, screamo, but will take any suggestions, and particularize the part of the song. Youtube links to the song would help lots too.

Is there a way to make an mp3 into a ringtone for your phone and how do I do it?

I shortened some of my mp3's and I put them on a mini SD calling-card and put them into my phone, but they didn't go into the ringtone section they went into the sounds and tones section and I can't figure out how to go-ahead them ringtones so I can individualize peoples rings...
I guess I should of mentioned that I can't text or imagine message send because my family plan doesn't include that....it would have to be unblocked...

I've been vexing to find a cell phone ringtone for ages now. All I know is that it's the famous carnival music, but that's all. I've heard it on someone's phone, but I've no point how to find it on the net (I've tried combinations "carnival music ringtone", "carnival set attend to" and so on on different sites, but no luck). Can anyone help? Thanks!
