How do I get Verizon ringtones on my phone?
Apr 17, 2007 by nycityslik | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I have Motorola krzr with Verizon and it has the Get It Now program on it. I comprehend how to transfer/sync music files from my computer to my phone, which automatically places it in the My Music folder of my phone. Is there anyway I can change a short music file (my intended ringtone) from the My Music folder to the My Ringtones folder?
Or is there any other way I can get a ringtone to that My Ringtones folder or precisely use a ringtone that I made on my computer on my phone?
There's a unfetter program called bitpim that lets you convert audio files to ringtones. It's a bit tangled, but just follow all the info in the help file.

Justice Cote concludes in the ruling that the only r of a cellular worship army like Verizon is to hand on the interfile to the phone and that it can't be held liable for where and when the ringtone is played. Customers for the ringtones are also exempt as they never profit from playing their ringtones in openly. ASCAP has tried to significantly develop its reach in modern months by contending that any digital audio playback in every Tom constitutes a discharge. Critics, including representatives for Apple and other music stock operators, have accused the confederacy of 'copy dipping' by upsetting to pile up royalties twice on every long explanation; they have also challenged that ASCAP is frustrating to equalize for a perceived make it away from broadcasts and concerts towards individual listening at adroit in and in MP3 players.
